How inDriver Helps Healthcare Workers During The COVID-19 Pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic has us all under a lot of pressure. And this is especially true for our healthcare workers.

Doctors, nurses, and other healthcare workers sacrifice a lot for all of us. These individuals are exhausted after long days and nights full of stress and worry for their patients, themselves as well as for their own families.

Their burden is heavy. So to show our support, we try to lessen its weight.

This is why we have our Medical Worker On The Way program. It's designed to help doctors, nurses, and other healthcare workers get to and from work comfortably and safely. It's intended to help relieve the energy and concentration required for driving as well as to help reduce their physical contact on public transport.

Official healthcare institutions send us their lists of workers via email to med@indriver.com. We then register them as individuals who qualify for the “medical worker” service on our app.

Drivers are then encouraged to prioritize these “medical worker” orders and to be as considerate as possible when they negotiate a price.

It's now two months since we first launched the program in Yakutsk. And already it's available in several other Russian cities as well as in Kazakhstan, Latin America and Southeast Asia.

We are happy to report that most drivers in the above-mentioned areas honor the Medical Worker On The Way program. On average, more than 80% of all orders by healthcare workers in these areas are completed for their initially offered prices without any increases.

Over the past two months, the program was supported by 5 732 drivers. And a total of 2 035 healthcare workers took advantage of it. In total, 30 249 orders were completed.

Today, there continues to be significant support for the program.

The Medical Worker On The Way program will continue to operate for as long as it's needed.

Unfortunately, this pandemic will likely be with us for a long time. So we encourage all relevant drivers to contunue to help those who help us.

We cannot in words express our gratitude to every healthcare worker on the frontline during this pandemic. Thank you!

And to all our drivers who lead by example, we thank you just as much!
